Life overflowing…

Years ago, one of the men who discipled me preached a sermon I’ll never forget, he exclaimed, "those who have Jesus at the center burst with life!” That’s incredible!”.

Ministry is now centered on knowing Jesus and preaching His glorious and magnetic grace to those seeking life in the city through Preaching/teaching, Relationship Coaching, and Counseling.

“He who has the Son, has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” - 1 John 5:12

Year’s later and Micah’s exhortation still rings in my ears.

God’s Design in my story...

John Bautista was born and raised in Texas!

Much of his early understandings of Christianity came from a strong praying mother and a culturally diverse and supportive community.

However, it wasn’t until one night in college when God intervened in his life by showing up through resounding brassy sirens and a flury of storms. In a moment, John realized what a life without God in it truly felt; hopeless and despair. That night, John was provoked to find out what the Bible said and meant. Therefore, he sought Christians to help him read the Bible, and through other loving believers, he placed saving faith in Jesus and was discipled.

Becoming a Christian has not only widened his perspective of how God meets humanity, but also has deepened his love for those of different cultural backgrounds. Various Christians from different cultural backgrounds have made an impact in his life; some from Manilla (Philippines), some from El Paso, some from San Angelo, some from Kuwait. His story has given him a felt sense of unity within the Body of Christ and a calling into preaching, teaching, and counseling ministry.
